ICAIOS - International Centre for Aceh and Indian Ocean Studies

ICAIOS Care is a humanitarian initiative under the International Centre for Aceh and Indian Ocean Studies (ICAIOS). The initiative was first established in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic as a rapid-response mechanism to support vulnerable communities in Aceh. It was designed to facilitate public contributions and ensure the effective distribution of essential assistance during emergency situations.

In response to the recent flooding in Sumatra, ICAIOS Care has been reactivated as a coordinated platform for humanitarian relief. Through collaboration with volunteers, partners, and donors, ICAIOS Care continues to uphold its commitment to delivering timely assistance and strengthening community resilience in times of disaster.
